Food Bloggers Event at SM Iloilo - My First

I attended my first ever Bloggers event here in Iloilo with my friend Mawe and it was an event to remember. The Food Bloggers Event was sponsored by SM city were they invited bloggers around Iloilo to promote the best dishes their tenants can offer, and they didn't disappoint.

We were the first to arrive at the venue and after waiting for a while the tenants stared displaying their delicacies, so Mawe and I began taking photos of those mouth watering displays. The other bloggers started arriving as well and joined us while taking some pictures.



The event started with an opening remark from Sir Stephen, the Vice President for SM Foodcourt. He gave us a brief history of the Food Bloggers event in all the SM branches. And the food tasting begin, of course I stared with the Lechon served by Bacolod Lechon Hauz and Sushi from Yukashi Sushi, too bad we already had lunch before the event started so I was only able to taste few of the dishes.

The foods from Sizzling Plate, Casa Ilongga, Chicken N Ribs, Breakthrough, Bacolod Lechon Hauz, Ocean City, Buko ni Fruitas, Thirsty, House of Panini, Sabor Ilonggo, Yukashii Sushi, and Mon's Takuyaki were great. But the one dish that got my attention was the Panini Sandwich from the House of Panini I'll surely visit their store whenever I go back to SM City.



Aside from the free food the organizers gave us Gift Certificates and also freebies from the event, Mawe even won an Mp3 player with 128mb memory on it. In the end my first ever bloggers event was fun and worth remembering considering that it's a Food Bloggers Event and I don't even have a blog dedicated for food. lols
